One Year Ago Today...

One year ago today, we met little Kian for the first time. We touched his soft skin. We heard his little voice. We looked into his eyes. One year ago today, Kian walked out the door of the only home he had ever known, having no idea of what was about to happen. His little heart was brave, and he met us with a bright smile. God heard the prayers of so many and carried us to our son and through the coming days. He led us to Kian, and we followed.
