Tues 11/4 - Finalize Adoption

This morning we returned to the Civil Affairs Office to finalize the adoption. We definitely have some grieving going on today! He got really quiet & withdrawn when we entered the room. We really wonder what was going on in his little mind.  Then later while still there he cried uncontrollably.  I know it is necessary & normal but not an ideal place for a meltdown!😢 So hard to see him like that. He has a mind of his own & we definitely have some work cut out for us! But overall we are doing well! Just lots of adjustments for all!! He is very free with his hugs with Craig and I which is priceless.

The following pictures were taken in the hotel garden this morning.

  1. Aww poor lil' guy.. lifting you up to the One who searches hearts!! Just as you have committed to never leave Kian as an orphan, so our Father has promised that you and Craig will never be left as orphans, regardless of how hard the days may seem. HE is with you!!

  4. It does my heart good to see these pictures. I anxiously await your return home to meet my new nephew but until then, this will have to do. I am so thankful for skype, being able to get mssgs from you on my phone and for the video clips. It makes it seem like you are not so far away. Watching the video clips brought tears to my eyes!!! He is so precious! God is so good and so faithful!!! Praying that things go okay today at both of your appointments. Praying, praying, praying!!!

  5. And to think that out of so many, God chose Kian to be your son and for you to be father and mother to him. He will make a way.
